Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Determine the Right Size?

The palm portion of the grips is the same length across all sizes; the difference depends on your wrist size. To find your size:

  1. Use a tape measure to measure your wrist just below the palm of your hand.
  2. Compare your measurement with the sizing guidelines to select the correct size.

Following these steps will ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Should Beginners Use Grips or Straps?

If you’re new to lifting, especially for general fitness, lifting grips might be a better choice. Their shorter length makes them easier to secure to equipment compared to straps.

How to use Grips

Step 1:
Secure the strap around the correct wrist so it’s snug but not too tight. Use the left/right tags as a guide, and position the rubber pad so it angles toward your index finger.

Step 2:
Place the bar between your palm and the grip. Use your fingertips to wrap the grip firmly over the bar.

Step 3:
Grab hold—and get jacked!

How to use straps

Step 1:
Secure the strap around the correct wrist, ensuring it’s comfortable but not overly tight. The left/right tags will help you pick the right strap for each hand.

Step 2:
Place the bar between your palm and the strap. Use your finger tips to wrap the strap over the bar several times, creating a firm grip.

Step 3:
Grab the bar—and lift heavy!

How Do I Clean My Straps or Grips?

Grips: Clean the wrist pad with a light soap and water solution. Use isopropyl alcohol to sanitize the rubber palm portion.

Straps: Only clean the wrist pad with soap and water. Avoid cleaning the leather strap, as water can cause it to become brittle.

Can I trim the wrist strap of my Weightlifting Straps or Grips if it’s too long?

Yes, you can trim the wrist strap if it’s too long. Simply cut the excess length just past the sewn logo patch at the end of the strap. After trimming, use a lighter to melt the edge of the nylon strap to prevent fraying.
